Description:
This 3D rendering was generated for Automotion, Inc. for their client, Thomson Learning. Automotion supplied the engineered AutoCAD drawings for this material handling system as well as the basic building layout and civil engineering drawings. From the .dwg (AutoCAD) files we generated DXF files which were imported into Lightwave 3D where the 3D model was created.
Since a good portion of the rack system was shadowed by the mezzanine, a transparency map was used enabling the floor level racking/conveyor to be seen through the mezzanine.
