Description:
This 3D rendering was generated for Crate & Barrel. It is a model of their furniture distribution center in Naperville, IL. They needed an aerial view of their facility to hang in their lobby for visitors. They were unable to supply any AutoCAD drawings of the facility so I had to create this model from scratch based off of measurements and photos that the customer supplied. Great detail was given to the exterior elements as they wanted a rendering that closely matched what was actually on site. Area lights were used to simulate sunlight and create more realistic shadows for the exterior.
Lightwave 3D was used to generate the models and rendering.
